History

1938
Takakichi Masuda, the founder, developed a green- and red-tea stem-separator and started selling it at number 3964, Kando, Yoshida-cho.
1941
Discontinued the production of the tea stem separator due to the suspension of the trade of tea caused by the outbreak of the Pacific War.
1948
Started manufacturing the tea stem separator again in response to the resumption of the trade of tea after the war.
1950
Started producing various tea-finishing machines, cutting machines, rolling shifters, parallel shifters, and winnowers.
1952
Takakichi Masuda became the Managing Director.
1955
Developed a continuous tea-finishing machine.
1960
Developed a revolutionary batch-integrated tea-finishing machine in October.
1963
Transferred the factory to number 1171, Kando, Yoshida-cho due to business expansion.
1965
Takakichi Masuda, the Managing Director, passed away in August. In response to this, Noboru Masuda became the Managing Director.
1971
Transferred the factory to the current address in January since the previous location was not large enough.
1974
Acquired the right to manufacture and market an Okawara-type automated through-flow dryer from OKAWARA MFG. CO., LTD. and started producing the dryer in January.
1981
Through technical cooperation with Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. in January, we jointly developed a high-performance electronic color separator, and started producing the separator which has developed such a good reputation.
1982
Changed from a limited liability company to a joint stock corporation in February.
1984
Developed a reduced-pressure drying system by using a newly developed dry heat source and started producing as well as selling the system.
1987
Developed a far-infrared drum dryer in September and started producing as well as selling the dryer.
1989
Acquired an unrefined tea-production factory in Sagara-cho in July and started producing unrefined tea.
1995
Completed construction of the new head office building in March.
1996
Increased the company capital to 10 million yen.
1997
Opened the Kyushu office in Yame City, Fukuoka, in February.
1999
Noboru Masuda retired as Managing Director and Takahisa Masuda became the new Managing Director in August.
2000
Acquired more land in Yame City, Fukuoka, in February and constructed the Kyushu factory.
2002
Celebrated the company fs 50th anniversary in September.
2003
Opened the Kansai office in Kyotanabe City, Kyoto, in June.
2004
Opened the Shizuoka local office in Shizuoka City in February.
2005
Partnered with ANZAI MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. in January and jointly developed a foreign object sorter.
2006
Developed a PET bottle production line for green tea and started selling dry stoners (manufactured by Heid) in August. Established the Kagoshima local office in Kagoshima City in November.
2009
Increased the company capital to 70 million yen in December.
2010
Merged Ltd. Meister in April.
Take over and established a mineral water division to Yamamasu, Ltd. within the mineral water business.
